Campaign timelines are a group of related campaigns that are places on the same Google Calendar. A Campaign Timeline can contain an unlimited number of Campaigns (standard object used in salesforce to represent a marketing program or event)

Yes, Campaign Timelines allows you to publish from Salesforce to a Google Calendar. These calendars can then be shared with anyone inside or outside of your company you grant access to.
