Can I add Appirio Search for Google Docs to my Salesforce search sidebar?
Yes. However, we couldn't put sidebar components into the Salesforce package, so you'll have to configure this yourself.
Will this remain free forever?
Well, forever is a long time! But Appirio plans to provide support for the standard version for free.
How does this work with the Google security model?
Salesforce.com and Google have their own security models. Salesforce keeps track of who creates the link to a Google document, not the person who created the Google doc. Appirio's search runs under the current user's Google profile, so the user will only see Google docs they have permissions to see.
