How does the product actually work?
CRM Dashboards allows you to create a gadget that will run inside of a Google App and bring back chart or list information from salesforce.com. The creating a gadget generates metadata that defines attributes about the data it needs and the way it should look. That gadget definition can be shared, but when you must login to the gadget (e.g. from the Google Start Page) to use that definition to pull data out of your org and display it according to the rules defined in the metadata.
Can i embed gadgets I create in my own web page?
Appirio relies on certain Google libraries that are not fully supported by Google when the gadget is embedded into your own web site. They do function within Google Docs, Spreadsheets and Sites.
Is sharing a gadget a security risk?
No. Sharing the gadget only shares your *definition* of the gadget (fields, chart type, search filters). We do not store your username & password, so there is no possibility of your information being sent to another user.
