Senior Manager, Product Marketing

About Us

Appirio (www.appirio.com) is looking to hire a savvy, independent B2B product marketing manager to launch and grow SaaS products that accelerate enterprise adoption of cloud computing. You'll start with Appirio PS Enterprise, a new application on Force.com that helps professional services firms manage their people, projects, customers, and numbers in the cloud.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Field enablement: Create the materials to assist Appirio's sales team to succeed with PS Enterprise in the market, including presentation frameworks, white papers, competitive analysis and positioning.
  • Thought leadership: Work with the PS Enterprise product management team to ensure that Appirio is leading the professional services industry to the cloud through our blog and customer community
  • Events: Work with our events team to drive the growth of PS Enterprise through webinars, industry events, and Dreamforce, Salesforce.com's November user conference.
  • Web presence: Work with our online marketing team to ensure an effective online presence for PS Enterprise, on appirio.com, AppExchange, and online communities like Twitter
  • PR: Work with our agency to ensure effective engagement with press, analysts, and the blogger community

Key Requirements

  • Proven ability to move products from messaging to market success
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to create and present compelling messaging (to sales and customers)
  • Ability to quickly gain expertise on using and explaining products
  • Strategic thinking with an execution focus
  • Strong people skills
  • 5-10 years experience, advanced degree preferred
