Candidate Profile

We are looking for a marketing master to refine Appirio's message and drive it into the marketplace to accelerate the adoption of our on-demand solutions.  Your success will be measured and rewarded based on the growth of qualified opportunities for Appirio, and resulting revenue generated by our client managers.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and measure initiatives to accelerate growth of Appirio’s service and product offerings through Appirio sales teams
  • Harness corporate wide assets to create a manageable set of tools for Appirio sales
  • Create programming / content that can be used by the sales organization to drive (vs. react) to prospect needs
  • Creatively combine traditional (e.g., events, channel incentives) and non-traditional tools (e.g., outside in analysis, partner programs) to raise awareness and consideration of Appiro’s offerings
  • Work with marketing communications to develop print and web collateral to support campaigns
  • Ability to drive activity directly and (over time) grow, develop and manage a team

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT or professional services marketing
  • Experience or exposure to the high tech industry (ideally software as a service)
  • Experience successfully driving awareness and considering of a new offering (consumer or enterprise)
  • Combine creativity with excellent project management
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred, but not required
  • MBA preferred, four-year degree required
  • Passion for technology and providing valuable, usable products to customers via the SaaS model
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
