Candidate Profile
Appirio, Inc. seeks a stellar coder to help build out our SaaS product offerings. If you are excited as we are about cloud computing and looking to build innovative applications on the leading SaaS platforms, Appirio may be the place for you. Our work requires Appirio employees to effectively engage at both the business and technical level. We are looking for people with:
- Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality; driven by cool technology, customer success with a team player attitude
- Strong communications skills to fully understand customer requirements and pain points and translate them into a plan of action
- Technical acumen to help convert plans into real solutions that work
Preferred Skills/Experience
- A minimum of two years of commercial software development or IT industry experience
- Proficient with complete web application development stack, both front and back-end
- Hands-on with Java, Javascript/HTML/CSS/AJAX (Flex a plus), plus one or more of PHP, Python, Ruby
- Experience with one or more web platform APIs such as Google, Salesforce.com, Amazon
- BS/CS, IS or equivalent from top tier university
- Passion for technology and providing valuable, usable products to customers via the SaaS model
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
